Why Post A Job At ZaleTabakman.ca?

in Job Hunting,Zale Tabakman

Why should you post a job at ZaleTabakman.ca is a great question.

With so many large portals like Monster, Vault, Workoplis, CarreerBuilder.com some people would consider you silly to post a job at ZaleTabakman.ca.

This is typical of people who are not aware of how large my social network is or how I help you find the ideal candidate.

I don’t mind, because I don’t accept only a small number of job posting requests, in fact I will only allow 3 a day, and I only look at them Monday through Friday. And not every Monday to Friday either.

I only post a maximum of 15 job postings a week.

And I have other selection criteria as well:

  • I only accept job postings that pay over $50,000 a year.
  • If  I have more than 3 jobs to post, I select the jobs that pay the highest salaries first.
  • I will choose a job for a non-profit over a profit company,
  • I don’t except jobs in the gambling. sex industries, or anything else that offends me.
  • I give first rights to people I have a relationship with,
  • I don’t give discounts for multiple job postings.

With all these criteria, (I sound like jerk to myself), so why would you want to post a job at ZaleTabakman.ca?

The reason I have these criteria is because I am responsible for all the content on the site, including your job posting.

Your posting is important to me, because, when I accept your posting, I also accept responsibility to help you fill the job.

Your posting is presented to to the thousands of people in my social network.

Your posting can add or detract from my reputation. So, I am very careful about what I do and who I do it with.

Your job posting with some help with some SEO and Social Networking promotion techniques I use becomes valuable content to Google.

I will forever be associated with your job posting. It lasts and lasts.

I explain a little lower how I move your posting out into my network and the greater world.

But first, lets take a look at the size and reach of my network and see what is possible for you.

  • My LinkedIn Network is over 18,000,000 people and grows by 25,000 people a day
  • I have a growing twitter network of around 1,700 people
  • I have a mailing list of over 600,000 people who receive a job hunting e-mail every 9 days.
  • I have hundreds of registered people on my website, it grows every day.
  • I have an RSS feed that is read far and wide.
  • My articles and e-mails are quoted in newspapers.
  • Your posting will be shown in my accounts on the following social networks:

Let’s talk about getting your job posting out into my social network.

Using My Social Network And Google To Find Candidates For Your Posting

I have an I try to post everyday. It provides a list of job opportunities based on a particular job title. Sometimes, I vary it to focus on a city, a country, or a region.

This is very important for your posting in a number of different ways. I want your candidate to be ready to find your job posting.

When you have completed your your post, I do the following things:

  1. I leave your posting as you created in the Indeed.com system.
(It will expire after 30 days, unless you do something.)
  2. I create a post that identifies the number of job openings with the same title.
The title of the posting is “Here are x JOBTITLE jobs”
  3. Two days later, I create a post with the number of job openings with the same title within your target area.
(I adjust the city, state, country combination to make sure I have a descent number of job postings.)
The title of the post is “Here are x JOBTITLE jobs in CITY/STATE/COUNTRY”.
  4. I edit the job posting so as to match the languages of my site and post it two days later, I post your job on my site.
The title of the post is “Here is a JOBTITLE job in CITY/STATE/COUNTRY”.
  5. The editing of the post will include an e-mail to your directly or a link to your site, whatever works best for you.
(If you use e-mail, I recommend you create an e-mail address specifically for the job and have it forwarded to you. You can then delete the e-mail later as it could become a magnet for SPAM)
  6. The three posts remain part of my job hunting theme, so they are visible to any person who comes to my site looking for a job.

Unless, you request it, the post remains on my site forever.

If you keep the e-mail or links active, you can count on a continous stream of good candidates.

I recommend leaving it up, unless you receive way too many resumes.

What effect does all this have on your job posting?

  1. The three posts are distributed out to all my social networking sites, all the registered people at my site, and all the people who read my RSS feeds.
  2. The three  posts with the JOBTITLE in it will catch the eye of somebody looking for the job.
  3. The three posts combinded with all the other posts on my site create great content for Google. That means anybody people who is searching for JOBTITLE with or with out the CITY, the post will come up on their search.
  4. Since, I add posts everyday and some of the other behind the scenes efforts on my part, your job post immediately become Google content of interest.
  5. I have the two day delay between each of the posts for a number of reasons
    (a) Google and the other search engines prefer new content on regular basis, rather than a ton of stuff instantly.
    (b) My readers can get overwhelmed by the amount of content generated by ZaleTabakman.ca
    (c) The titles of all three posts are available at once, but, they are not clickable until they are posted. That means the person who comes from the first or second post, is waiting for your post to appear and is primed to send you a resume as soon as possible. (This is an old marketing technique that works – something lmited is higherly prized than something easily gotten).
    (d) When they are waiting for the posting to appear, hopefully, the candidate will be preparing a cover letter and resume that follows the Guerrilla Job Search System, so that the resume will be a killer.

Now now does it make sense why you should post your job at ZaleTabakman.ca?

  • Educated mature adults who want to be the Perfect Candidate

  • Your posting becomes content that Google will want and provide to candidates
