When you are over 50 and you are unemployed, its scary. For some it can be depressing.
We have responsibilities. We see things changing rapidly. We see the world focused on youth.
The reality is that when we were 32, 50 year olds had responsibilities, they saw things changing rapidly, and they thought the world was focused on youth.
What is happening has always been happening.
But, knowing it, doesn’t necessarily make you or make me feel better.
What does make us feel better is to take control and to take action.
I would like to introduce you to Ainka Fulani who is an Executive and Personal Coach with the Life Performance Coaching Center in San Francisco. Anika works with MBAs and experienced hires on their professional development worldwide. Ainka received her BA in English Literature with an emphasis on education from UC Berkeley. Think Ainka doesn’t know business? She is a graduate of The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School where she earned an MBA in Entrepreneurship, Operations and Strategy.
(Donald Trump is a Wharton Graduate)
Ainka has put on a great Webinar with my friends at Ivy Exec that deals with many of these issues. Its not a Rah! Rah! type talk, but provides specific activities that the senior executive should be doing.
The webinar was sponsored by Ivy Exec, use the promotion TZ2010 code below to get a free one month access to over 12,000 international openings, professional development webinars, and industry intelligence reports.
