A portion of Yemalin De Yevie Group‘s $2,025 loan helps the borrower described to buy boxes of soap, pasta, and dozens of plastic utensils.

Group Yemalin de Yevie is composed of 16 members, who all live in the same district. The group’s president, named Julienne, is raising her hand in the picture. In order to increase their level of activity and to better meet customer demand, this group is requesting ALIDé’s financial support for the first time.
Julienne is 35 years old and married to Gildas. The couple has two children, who both attend school and are in their care. Julienne and her husband provide for the family’s multiple needs together. Julienne lives in Benin with her husband and her children. She never went to school. In order to provide for herself and for her family, Julienne has been retailing various products for about three years (soap, pasta, plastic cutlery…), both from her home and at a market in Benin. As a secondary activity, she also sells beverages. She gets her supplies from a city in Benin.
To grow her business and to better satisfy her customers, Julienne is requesting a loan from ALIDé together with the other members of the Yemalin de Yevie members. Their ambition is to bring up their activity level.
