Looking for work is time consuming and requires many skills, but there are some challenges to this.

  • If you are employed at a current job and looking to get a better job, job hunting efforts is seriously impeded by your lack of time. You will need do your job search efforts in the evenings and weekends, which impacts your rest and family time. Personally in the evenings, my skills are pretty poor.
  • If you are aggressively looking for a job, you find that there are more things to do than time allows. As they say time is money, everyday you are unemployed is a day of lost wages. From a business perspective, spending what you earn in 1/2 a days gets you a job one day earlier, you have made 100% return on your investment.
  • Much of job hunting is about using skills that you may not have such as writing. networking, and various online computer skills. It takes time to develop these skills.

If these are some of the challenges you face in your job hunt, then you should consider paying someone to do some of the jobs for you.

I have identified and vetted a number of resources that will do some of the work of job hunting for you. I do not guarantee any of these organizations. I would like to send me feedback on any of these resources, so that I can share your experiences with other people. Check them all out and then select the one that will work best for your particular needs.
