Zale Tabakman

I have found that there is no really focused hand manager directory for job hunters. There are lots of general directories, but they include lots of useless stuff. So, I decided to create my own.

Please help build up the directory by adding URL’s and descriptions of sites that help job hunters.

Here are some helpful hints about the directory contents:

• Only a few of the subcategories are displayed – in any category there are many more subcategories.
  
• The directory listings are sorted by Google page rank. A higher rank means Google likes the content on the page better than the lower ranked listings. Google page ranking changes regularly, so sites will move around. And most importantly -  Google Page rank doesn’t mean the content will have what you are looking for.
• I do not recommend or validate anything listed in this directory other than the site exists and fits the category when I approved the listing.  I do recommend products and people elsewhere on ZaleTabakman.ca.
• If there is a problem with any site, click Flag, and I will check the site out and remove it if it somehow doesn’t meat the standards of the site.
• Use the comments section to review or recommend anything listed in the directory. Just no sales pitches, please.

Here are some helpful hints about adding to the directory:

• There is no charge for being in the directory.
• You can be the owner of the site or just a site fan. Please don’t be shy about adding to the directory – the more sites we have the better the directory will be.
• Please add sites into multiple categories. The purpose of the directory is to help people find resources they need. The only caveat is that a site must have lots of information about the category its in.
• If you think a link needs a category that doesn’t exist,  send me an e-mail through LinkedIn http://www.LinkedIn.com/in/ZaleTabakman or leave a comment somewhere on a directory page.  If I agree, I will add the category and edit up the description.
• Because of SPAM sites and other such naughty things, I personally verify all the sites.
• It can sometimes take a few days for a site to be approved in the directory.
