About
Let’s Get You A Job As Soon As Possible
Job hunting can be very difficult.
More than likely, your main job hunting strategy has been “Click and Apply”.
www.ZaleTabakman.ca can help you with many more and different job hunt strategies.
I use a technique called Guerrilla Job Search which puts you far ahead of the typical job hunter.
To get a job you need to:
- Read the articles,
- Move out of your comfort zone by choosing to do something different,
- Take an action.
Without action, nothing happens.
My goal to help 10,000 people find a new job.
If you are looking for a job I want to help you.
The biggest challenge you face is the competition from all the qualified people also looking for a job.
The job competition causes several problems in your job hunt that I can show you how to fix.
- The recruiter or human resources person can search in two core places and if your resume isn’t there and isn’t correctly presented, they ignore you.
- Every job opening that is posted receives thousands of qualified resumes.
These are just two of the top challenges you face as a job hunter.
The solution to job hunt competition is to use the same methods used by other companies facing competition.
You focus on who your customer is and create a sales and marketing program that will allow you to market yourself.
This web site has all the solutions you need to learn how to market yourself to for finding a job.
Small aggressive companies use this technique, its called Guerrilla Marketing.
When you use it to find a job, its called Guerrilla Job Hunting.
There are seven skills you need to find a job. You need to develop Guerrilla Job Hunting skills in each of the seven areas. The better you are at each of the skills, the faster you will find a job, and the job will be better fit for you.
The Seven Skills are:
- Organizing Your Job Hunt – Making sure you have all the tools and materials you need to do find your job.
- Identifying Who You Want To Work For – The best job is the one you are perfect fit for. A basic marketing concept is understanding your customer and knowing what they need and want.
- Having Top Notch Materials To Market Yourself - Your marketing materials starts with your paper resume and your resume. It includes your cover letters. Its more than resume format, its the actual words that you use.
- Your Marketing Campaign – This skill will make sure you are found. This about letting people who have a job know that you are available and what you have to offer. These are the tactics you use to get in front of the hiring authority.
- Your Sales presentation – This skill is where you move in for the close. Others think its a job interview, you know its a sales presentation. You must demonstrate that you can solve the business problem.
- Closing The Sale – This skill is about negotiating the best salary and benefits you can possibly achieve.
- Doing The Job – This skill is about being successful when you do the job. Its all about Success Through Balance.
Because of the massive job losses due to the recession, Everyday a new article to help you be successful in finding a job will be posted.
Lots of other great Curves, Success, and general content as well.
Until the recession is over, www.ZaleTabakman.ca is now dedicated to teaching you how to market yourself for the express purpose of finding a job.
Here is a great starting place.
What Kind Of Job Hunter Are You?
This article describes the difference between a person who waits for the job to come to them, basically uses the job hunt strategy called “Click and Apply” vs. somebody who is asked by a hiring authority for a coffee.
Obviously, you want to be the job hunter who is asked for a coffee.
Learn what it takes to a Guerrilla Job Hunter.
I have organized all my posts and pages into themes. Here are the most popular job hunting themes to get you started.

What can I say, these are the best habits every a job hunter must have. Which ones do you have?
10 Very Bad Job Hunting Habits

But don’t worry, I tell you how to fix them. And guess what, they are not the reverse of the 10 good habits every job hunter should have.

5 Job Hunting Tips From The Depression
The depression was a horrible time. Unemployment at 25% and no Unemployment Insurance. The economy had just turned from the Roaring Twenties where money and work was plentiful.
There was a massive change in the way people lived due to technology. The life of a twenty year was significantly different than the life of a 40 year old.
In fact, there are many similarities to the job hunting environment of today.
The tactics used by successful job hunters in the 1930’s will work just as well today.
Since the most successful job hunting is based on what people want, not on technology, and not on “Click and Apply”.
